Technique Class--Shadow Stamping

This is the last set of cards that we created at my latest technique class. I used the technique of shadow stamping to make the ball look like it is moving! My second daughter, Miriam, is a HUGE soccer player, fan, connoisseur! She took the time to help her old mom out and picked out the colors to go with the soccer ball! I figured I couldn't go wrong when she picked out the colors! She LOVED the way this card turned out, too! Guess I'm doing something right, at least once in a while!

Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Goal

Technique Class--Faux Suede

I am teaching a technique class. One of the techniques  that I taught was faux suede. I like the looks of this technique and it's so easy! For this class, we are making a card and a technique card. The technique cards have the step by step written directions as well as a sample on them then we are putting the technique cards onto a ring so that they will make their own book of techniques! Want to join in the fun? We are meeting on the second Thursday of the month to create!

More Birthday Bash!

Here's another card from my Birthday Bash! Abi picked the colors again and they were really fun to work with and this set. This is a fairly new set for me and I haven't had a chance to use it too much yet! To create the "sun", I punched a piece of copy paper with the 1" circle punch and put a little tape on the back of it. I always tap the tape onto my pants several times to take some of the tacky away so that I can remove it from my project when I need to! Then I added colors to the project! I started with sponging on Daffodil Delight, added More Mustard and finally Pumpkin Pie. I removed the paper circle and sponged on more Daffodil Delight. I got this really cool sun setting look!

Birthday Bash 2!

Here's another card from my Birthday Bash! I found a card pretty much the same on Stampin' Connections (a website for demonstrators) and created it! I did change up the colors a little bit but the layout is identical! To get the color on the "Wish Big" sentiment, I used the Stampin' Write Markers right on the rubber! So easy to make an image multiple colors!

I recently held a class that was a Birthday Bash! We created 3 cards using 4 designs. This was one of the cards that we created! Abi again picked out the colors for this beauty! I love letting her pick out the colors for meIt also fits for a sketch challenge on Stampin' Addicts! This sketch is number 69. I changed the location of the oval punch by centering it instead of putting off to the right. There is glitter on the center of each flower too!

I was just playing around with my Create a Cupcake stamp set and Build a Cupcake punch. This is a pretty simple card but I like the "feel" of it! Snow Fun!

Here is the other set of pages that we made at my Scrapbooking night on Monday. We received 24" of snow on February 2-3. You wouldn't believe what kind of havoc this will create, even in a place that is use to getting snow! Our road didn't get plowwed until late that Wednesday. The snow drift in my driveway was taller than I am! Boy did my girls have fun playing in this! I was sure that I wasn't the only one with my camera out and taking pictures, so I created these pages (with help from Stampin' Connections again) so that those pictures can be seen over and over!

This is the left side of the duo. On the bottom of the page there is 2 rhinestone brads.

This is the right side of the set. I love those punch art mittens! There are 2 more rhinestone brads in the upper right corner.

Stamps: Serene Snowflake
Ink: Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Whisper White

This is one of my favorite pictures of that day! This is my 7 year old, Lydia. Isn't she just adorable? Snowflake on my nose and eyelashes...

February Scrapbooking Night

Stampin' Up! has encouraged their demonstrators to add one thing to their business. I decided to add a scrapbooking night once a month on the 4th Monday of the month. This past Monday was our first meeting and this is one of the 2-page spreads that we created! I haven't done much scrapbooking so I found some ideas on Stampin' Connections (this is an online community for demonstrators) and made it my own!

This is the left side of the spread close up. I don't know if you can see, but I did stamp a heart in Pink Pirouette all over the white.

Here's the right side close up.

Stamps: Love You Much
Ink: Basic Black, Pink Pirouette, Real Red
Cardstock: Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black, Pink Pirouette
Accessories: Brights Patterns DSP, Scallop Trim border punch, Scallop circle punch,
