Country Livin'

Hi everyone!

I have been challenging myself to use my stamp sets and create several cards using the set and a certain color combination. Here's my take on Country Livin'.

This guitar is striking and yet simple.

My boots I did simple on the first card and then stepped it up on the second one. I added the sponging on the white circle, the linen thread that looks like a lasso, and the Dapper Denim piece was run through the Big Shot with the Lucky Stars folder. Both are nice but I seem to like the stepped up version better.

The truck turned out to be my favorite. The truck is water colored with Aqua painters and the ink from the lid of the stamp pads. The edges of the card is sponged as well. I love to sponge the edges. Softens the edges and adds dimension without a lot of effort!

What stamp set would you like to see me play with? Let me know! If I have it, I will play with it!

Avant Garden

Hello! How's everyone doing? What are you stamping?

I wanted to play with the stamp set Avant Garden which is one of the freebies you can pick with a $50 Stampin' Up! order.
I used the colors Daffodil Delight, Soft Sky, Mint Macaron an Early Espresso for these cards. I wasn't sure of the Soft Sky and Mint Macaron together. Yes, one is blue and one is green but they are close and I didn't know if you would be able to tell the difference. Boy, was I wrong! I love how these colors work together. So pretty and soft. Makes me wish for spring! After getting 24" of snow the other day, spring may be a bit before it gets here!

There is a Soft Sky outline around the flowers. Hard to see in this picture. Notice the ribbon? Another one of your choices for SAB!

There's that pretty ribbon again!

This is a CASE from Pinterest. I'm not sure who posted it. I did change the colors but the layout is the same.

This is also a CASE from Pinterest with a color change.

Don't miss out on your free stamp set! You can order by going to my website at www.shelleyzarling.stampinup.net and using hostess code HK7Y3B3W. I'll send you one of these cards with your order. Which one would you like?

You are remarkable!

I work at a middle school as a teacher's aide and my husband is a pastor. We get many presents at Christmas. I made this card for the thank yous for all those thoughtful gifts. I think I made 30 of them and have received many compliments on them. One of the ladies at church even told me it was so pretty she had to frame it. True compliment there!

Once again, I used the Wink of Stella on the yellow spadix. I also took my Soft Sky marker and went around the flowers to give it a soft glow.

Shine

More scrapbook pages! These are using a stamp set from the Holiday Mini called Star of Light. I just love this stamp set and yet didn't use it as much as I had hoped. I did create these pages. Didn't they turn out fabulous?

What pictures would you add to these pages?
