Inky Friends: Creativity is Calling: Over the Moon

Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! I'm so glad you are here to see some of the new items available! My Inky Friends and I are sharing just a small portion of what is new in the Stampin' Up! catalog with this month's blog hop. If you haven't had a chance to see the new catalog, you really need to get your hands on one! There is so many new goodies, you don't want to miss out.

Well, if you are hopping forward, you just came from The Stampin' Bunny where Rhonda showed you To a Wild Rose. Isn't that a beautiful stamp set? I love the sayings that come with it and the flower and leaves are stunning. OR you might be hopping backwards, you rebel you :) and you got here from Stamp with Shar where Sharleen highlighted Floral Essence. I love the Designer Series paper in this suite! It reminds me of Monet. So pretty!

I chose to feature Over the Moon stamp set. My oldest daughter, Abi, is in love with cows. When I saw the new catalog, I knew that I would have to purchase this set for her! I thought this would be a great time to get it inky!

Abi did come over and pick out the colors for these projects. I'm not sure I went where she thought I would go but I had fun  with her color combos. I used Mossy Meadow, Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight. I used markers to color the image. The cow is up on dimensionals.

I used markers again to color this little guy. You want to laugh at me? I colored the grass under the cow before I realized there is grass stamp in the set! I laughed at myself! Note to self, look at all the stamps in the set! Ha! The thinking cloud was fussy cut and on a dimensional.

This is the third cow image in this set. He looks like he could be over the moon so I stamped the moon on the Petal Pink cardstock to create my own DSP. After the moon was stamped, I colored in the image with the marker.

I did start on  set of scrapbook pages but I couldn't figure out how to finish them. They were kicking my butt so I decided to not force it but take a break and see what happens when I sit down again to play. When I get them finished, I will share them.

You are now off to the next blog! Enjoy hopping! Don't forget, we love your comments! You can let us know what you like!

Happy Stampin'!
