Inky Friends: Suite Designs Blog Hop: DinoRoar

Welcome to another Inky Friends blog hop! These are so much fun! This month we are focused on the suites that are in the catalog. The suites are so fun. They give you stamp sets, punches, dies, papers, ribbons, and accessories that all coordinated! Stampin' Up! takes all the guess work out of  what goes together. I love it!

You may have just come from Lily Ink Pad, where Sara showcased Pressed Petals. Isn't that a pretty suite? Or maybe you are hopping backwards, in which case, you were just at The Stampin' Bunny where Rhonda played with Perennial Essence. Those papers remind me Monet paintings!

I am sharing the DinoRoar suite with you. I used the DSP, stamps, and dies for my designs. There is coordinating ribbon and enamel shapes too. I'm so proud of myself for actually cutting my DSP! I have begun to realize that I hoard my DSP. It will be a goal for me to cut it and use it.

My first card shows two of the designs on the DSP. I love how the scales on the back of the dinosaur are a separate stamp and die. When you cut the scales with the die, it leaves a white space for you to tape it to the back of the dino! Genius!

.

I had to make a girly card using this set. My girls love dinosaurs. There is a shadow on the dino making it hard to understand that there are holes cut in the dino to show the back paper through. The dimensionals that I put the dino on gave it a bit of a lift, creating the shadows. Hmm....

This set isn't only dinosaurs! It has a fantastic palm tree in it also. I wanted to show a way to use the tree and leaves too.

Last, but not least, I did create a scrapbook layout. I will have close ups on my blog on Monday. Come back to see these pages closer!

Time to see what everyone else created! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stampin'!
