My neighbor and friend has a son that is graduating this year from Shoreland Lutheran High School in Somers, WI. She asked me to create 76 invites for her. Now you know part of what I was doing in April! Of course they weren't the easiest cards around either! I love how they turned out! My oldest daughter, Abi is a freshman at the same High School. She was pretty mad when she saw these! She thought they were so cool and was afraid that I didn't have anything left for her graduation in 3 years. I have time but I am in need of a few ideas!
Here's a group picture of all 76 invites.
Here's a close up of one. You can see that they are a criss-cross card. Lots of little things on this card. They took a long time to get done!
Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Basic Black, Summer Sun (retired), Whisper White
Accessories: Basic Black DSP, Round Tab punch, Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8" circle
punch, Square Lattice embossing folder, Timeless Type dies, dimensional, Tombo liquid adhesive
While I used this card for an announcement/invitation, you could make it as a card to give to the graduates in your life! Change colors to your students high school colors and your all set! Just be prepared that there are A LOT of little parts to this card!
Happy Stampin'!
Shelley
