Orange/pink layout

I love how pinks and oranges look together! It's such a fresh, fun look. I did struggle a bit to get these pages to look right but I am happy with how they turned out.

The gold foil strip helps bring a pizzazz to the pages. There is also some gold thread on these pages but it's hard to see.

I used the flowers from Love What You Do as an added touch. There is also gold thread on the page to add more shimmer.

You may have noticed that I didn't put titles on these pages. I'm not really sure what pictures I am going to put on them so I didn't add titles. I did leave spaces for titles and/or journaling so that when I add the pictures, I can add that if I would like. I may not add titles though. I like the pages without.

My Inky Friends Design Challenge #15

We are going to take a break from the Petal Promenade scrapbook pages so that I can share with you a new design challenge!

Image may contain: text

I love challenges! They make me stretch and think. Color challenges are easier for me than sketches but I am enjoy both. This month Inky Friends has issued a color challenge. I enjoyed this color combination so much I made 3 cards using it! The stems are off stamped with Old Olive and then the second step is stamped in full strength.

I used the coordinating dies to help me create this card. I made 2 cards and mailed them to a couple of friends of mine for their birthdays and they both loved the card.

This last card is a simple stamping card. The leaves on the flowers are the wings of the butterfly. So awesome to use stamps for more than one purpose! Love it!

Why don't you join us and make a card using Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Old Olive? I would love to see what you create using this color combination!
