Ridiculously Awesome and Baby Wipe Swipe

Ridiculously Awesome jumped out at me when the last catalog was brand new. I loved the sayings and the fonts. I was truly disappointed when it hit the retiring list. I thought it was such an awesome set that it would be around for more than a year. Boy, was I wrong.

Well, I had to use it before it was gone for good. I made these three cards (and others that have been shared before) before it retired but I am just now getting around to sharing them with you.

To create the background on this card I folded up a baby wipe a couple of times and place several drops of Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry on it. I used this as my "ink" pad to create some other cards. When I was done stamping with this "ink" pad, I picked it up and swiped it across some Basic White cardstock, making this background. I did make this card on one of my Facebook Lives. The replay of that live is HERE for you to watch if you'd like.

For this background I folded the baby wipe again into a smaller rectangle. I placed a couple of drops of each color next to each other and then swiped it across my cardstock in a wiggle motion. I used markers on the greeting to get it multicolored.

This background is another baby wipe swipe. This time I did one color at a time, refolding the wipe to get a clean area for the next color. I did a Facebook Live creating this card. You can watch that HERE if you would like.

Baby wipes can do more than just clean up your stamp room! They are pretty fun to create with too. I hope you give it a try!

Sweet Ice Cream Pages

I haven't shared any scrapbook pages lately so let me show you what I have created! I used the Sweet Ice Cream suite and had lots of fun! This is an easy layout to use. I found a scrap map for this layout and used the paper that I wanted to create what you see here. You may notice that the pages are almost identical. The difference is one is upside down from the other. This is a great way to get a double layout without much work to what the other page should look like.

The Blackberry Bliss background helps the ice cream pop off the page a bit. I will admit to not being sure of this dark color for these pages but I think it worked in the end.

You see that this page is turned upside down from the other. I love doing that when I'm struggling for what the second page should have as a layout. The pages then coordinate without a lot of hassle.

I hope you have been creating and making fun goodies! I need to create so that I stay grounded and have less stress. I will admit that with all the soccer currently, I'm not creating as much as I have in the past but soccer is a good thing for me too!

Happy Stampin'!
