Silhouette Pages

I love creating scrapbook pages with Stampin' Up! stamps. I haven't found a set that I couldn't create a scrapbook page for yet! Some are more challenging but still do-able.

Silhouettes! SWOON! I adore silhouettes! This set is so much fun to play with.

The "adventure" is a die that is part of this set too. The other words in this set are "inspire" and "forever." This is fabulous font!

The bright colors in this set of pages makes me want to be a kid again. I would swing all day when I was little. And making and flying paper airplanes was a blast! We used to do this with my dad. Great memory!

Now to find the perfect pictures for this set of pages. I really want to make more pages with this set and papers. I will have to find the time to do that.

Fox

I was asked to make 36 baby shower invitations for a co-worker/friend and his wife. They have shared with me a picture of what they are using for inspiration for decorating the nursery. In that inspiration picture there were birch trees painted on the wall. I knew I had to use the Woodland embossing folder to create the background. When I saw that there were foxes in the inspiration picture, Foxy Friends had to be brought out of retirement!

I fussy cut the tree stump and the two mushrooms but it really didn't take too long to get done, even with 36 of them to do. I put a bit of Wink of Stella on the mushrooms. I hope the new parents like what I did for these invites. The hostess loved them!

Beautiful Day Part 1

When Beautiful Day stamp set was released, it was a favorite and a ton of samples were posted. You can check out Pinterest and you can see all these examples. Now that it's not the newest, latest, greatest, you don't see as many examples. It sure is a pretty set that makes some stunning cards.

I still like this set and have decided to play with it a bit more. I made the same card, with the same colors but one with the rose and the other with the butterfly.

I changed the way the colors are used and made a butterfly card. These images are water colored.

I'm not thrilled with the way I colored this rose. It's pretty but not realistic looking. I guess that is OK, just not quite what I wanted.

The ribbons on these cards are dyed with Blends. This is the  Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. I have always liked the seaming binding ribbons that Stampin' Up! has given us over the years. I was saddened when it all retired. Now there is a new one and it's white! So easy to dye!

I have 4 more cards with this set to share with you soon. Keep on the lookout!
