I chose the stamp set called Elementary Elegance! I have to admit that I LOVED this stamp set in the catalog and then struggled to use it! After I just sat down and started working, it came pretty easy! I think some of my trouble was that I have seen this set used the the fantastically, marvelous Everyday Enchantment DSP and I really wanted to do something different. So I had a self imposed challenge with this set. I am confident that I have succeed in this challenge!
For my first project I created a birthday card. I used this card with my club last week and they really enjoyed it!
When you get this stamp set, the inside of the frame has a piece of rubber that you remove so you don't get any extra marks where you don't want them. KEEP THAT PIECE OF RUBBER!!! This card was created with that piece of rubber. I stamped with all the purples that Stampin' Up! sells. I love purple so this was made for me!
My next card I really stepped out on the colors but I LOVE the way this one turned out! Very unusual from what I've seen done with this set! (Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places! :) )
My last project is a Box in a Bag. These have been around for a while but I had never made one before so I thought this was a great time to give it a whirl! It was so much fun, I will be making these again!
I will be posting all the recipes and directions on Monday, so come on back, ya hear!
Thanks for taking the time to see what I have created. Now you are off to Kim's blog: Stitchin' n Stampin' to see what she has done with this same stamp set! Even more ideas! Yeah! Or you can go to Katherine's blog and see what she created with the Designer Frames embossing folders.
Happy Stampin'!
Shelley

These are beautiful Shelley! I did the same thing with the center piece of rubber. Another stamp!!!
What great projects! That first card is just gorgeous! And how smart and clever of you to save the inside of that stamp! Love how you used it!
Shelly, your cards are gorgeous! I would do the same with that extra piece of rubber, in fact there is a similar piece in PS I Love You that I held onto!
Great projects!! Love the bag. Now I'm wanting to get the Twitterpated DSP!!
How fun Shelley!! love the colors you've chosen and that you used the relief image to stamp too! Very inspirational!
These are beautiful projects! Way to highlight this set.
Beautiful projects! I must get this stamp set!
Shelley, your projects are awesome! Love the idea for the extra piece of rubber.
That's some pretty fancy cutting, Shelley! Beautiful projects -- I especially love the stamp used on the tag on the last one.
Great job Shelley. Love the bag in the box, but of course being a fellow purple freak, the purple shape card was my fav! I haven't used my set yet, but I did mount it, and at that time had seen Mary Fish talk about the center piece. I think PS I love you has a piece like this too but not sure.
well I hit something wrong, the above comment from anonymous was me.......not typing the whole thing over again since it's already on there. lol
Love all the different styles and colors you used to show the versatility of this set!
Wonderful diversity here, love them all!! (I saved my inside pieces too :) )
I am so glad I saved that little piece of rubber! Using that really adds to the versatility of this stamp set. Darling projects!
