My Inky Friends Design Challenge #7

My Inky Friends are back with another design challenge! This one is a sketch challenge, inspired by a card on page 48 of the annual catalog.

Here is my take on that sketch. I changed it up just a touch by not using the frame and making my main image a bit bigger.

April Christmas Cards

Here are my April Christmas cards. No, they were no completed in the month of May. I made them last week. Yes, I'm playing a bit of catch up! Spring soccer, confirmations, graduations, prom are such distractions from stampin'. Fun distractions, but distractions non the less.

I am trying to create 6 Christmas cards each month to make the fall season a bit easier. I made 8 of these so that one could go to a friend since I had used a sketch that she created.

You can see the close up here. There is some Wink of Stella under the houses to look like snow. It's so hard to capture that in a picture!

The fall is going to be a little less stressful because I will have my cards made!

Little Piggy Cards

Have you noticed this adorable set in the catalog? I just love these piggies!! They are too cute! Around Valentine's day, I pulled out this set to play with. I created 3 cards at that time, well, actually I made 6 cards, 2 of each design. I forget to write up the blog posts so here I am, several months later, finally getting them on my blog!

I used the Blends to color these cute little guys in. I was so nervous to use the Blends but they are simple to work with!

The kisses on the butt are too fun on this card.

The line of flowers on this card is washi tape that has now been retired as well as the brick wall embossing folder. Oh, yeah! I used Pink Pirouette on these cards too! UGH! I really need to get these projects on my blog faster!
