Confirmation Gifts 2022

If you have followed me for a while, you know that my husband is a pastor at a Lutheran church in Racine, WI and that every spring we have confirmation. Every year I make the kids gifts. I use retired designer series papers from Stampin' Up!, print their confirmation Bible verse, and frame them. Here is this year's gifts.

There is a bit of a glare on these because of the glass on the frames so the letters look a little blurry. These aren't blurry in real life.

They also appear to not be level but that is the way they are angled when I took the pictures. I wish I would have realized that before I wrapped them and gave them out!

The crosses are wooden crosses that I picked up at Hobby Lobby and painted black before I adhered them.

The letters are adhered to the outside of the glass. They are die cut from vinyl.

The words come from their passage and the kids all get to pick a passage that means something to them. I print the passages on Basic White cardstock and then layer it with Basic Black.

So what do you think? I have shared these every year for a number of years already. Go take a look. I have fun making them for these kids on their confirmation day.

Happy Stampin'!

What a special gift and remembrance for them as they are confirmed. So thoughtful of you to make them such a treasure! I always enjoy your posts even though I don’t take the time to comment.

Thank you, Carolee! I appreciate your comment and I think the kids like them. My girls have! I even had to remake one for my daughter because she dropped it and the glass shattered.
