Inky Friends: Inking Up the Retiring Colors Blog Hop: Sweet Sugarplum

Here we go again! It's the second weekend of the month so it has to be time for Inky Friends blog hop! Yippee! I love these hops! I love creating for them as well as checking out what my friends have created!

This month we chose to focus on the retiring In Colors. You may have come to my blog from Mary's blog where she showcased Peekaboo Peach. Maybe you are hopping backwards around. If that's the case, you would have just been on Sharleen's blog where she featured Peekaboo Peach (I'm in a Peekaboo Peach sandwich!). Regardless of which way you are hopping, we are all linked together so that you can see all! Now, on to my projects!

I picked Sweet Sugarplum to be the main color I used because I haven't used it much. It is a sweet color.

My first card has Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach and Dapper Denim. All three colors will not be returning. I haven't done much with the splatter stamps. I like the way this one turned out. I am going to have to play with that a bit more!

This stamp set is one that is easy to miss. It's one of the hostess stamp sets that you can you could get with your hostess benefits. It's so cute! I have a few more projects with this set that I will be sharing next week. Come back for more!

This card uses an unusual color combo. My oldest daughter, Abi, was over to help pick out color combos again! She really makes me stretch.

Of course, I had to create a double layout! I enjoy creating these pages and the challenge of figuring out how to use the stamps and DSP on scrapbook pages. When I first started stamping, I was just a card maker. Several friends talked me into trying scrapbooking. I truly enjoy creating the pages.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my projects and the color Sweet Sugarplum. Now you are off to see what Sharleen created wtih more Peekaboo Peach. Or you may be going backwards. Then you are off to see Mary's projects with Peekaboo Peach.

Don't forget to come back next week to see the Cozy Cottage cards, close ups of the scrapbook pages as well as another card using  Petal Palette.

Happy Stampin'!
