Once again, these cards were created this spring and some of the goodies have been retired. I really like these cards and wanted to share even with retired items being used.
I used the sailboats on this first card. The retired item is the embossing folder, Seaside. We do have a new folder called High Sea. High Sea looks like peaking waves. I used the dies to cut the sailboats out. There is also Wink of Stella on the water under the boats.
I love this phrase! Actually, I love the Bible passage but this phrase says almost the same thing. I try to remember that God is in control of all things. Not always easy to leave it to God but so much more beneficial. The Ruffled embossing folder is retired but you could add texture with another folder.
The feel of this card is so serene, calm, peaceful. The dies for this set have the water cut out as you can see from the circle on this card. It's pretty cool to have that in the dies.
Take a closer look at Lilypad Lake stamp set. It really covers many occasions.
