Let It Ride

Have you seen the stamp set Let It Ride? Horse lovers every where need to check this set out! It has some great horse images. You can see most of them here.

I like the meadow look on this first card. I stamped the trees on the sides and the horses in the middle. I did water color the horses with Crumb Cake and an Aqua Painter. By sponging the edges of the panel and the circle with Gorgeous Grape ink, I have given them some dimension. Who doesn't like that Buffalo Check background stamp?!?

This stunning image is so realistic. I did use Hardwood for the background and that stamp is retired now. (I'm not sure it will leave my collection though. I love it!) You could run that panel through the Pine Planks Embossing Folder and hitting the high parts of the embossing with a bit of ink to highlight them.

The image was stamped on the whisper white card stock and then cut with the Stitched Rectangles dies. You can see the the tip of his nose and the end of his tail is just off the main panel. The center panel is on dimensionals.

My last card for this time with this set is pretty simple. The background is Crackle and the horse is watercolored.

My niece has really gotten into horses lately. I sent her one of these guys and she really loved it. Now to mail another piece of happy mail to someone!

Happy Stampin'!
