Winter Nature's Beauty

Nature's Beauty was introduced last year in the Aug-Jan mini catalog. The animals are so realistic looking, it was hard for me to not purchase this set. It helped that $3 of every set went to help mental health research. I have pulled this set over and over again from my shelf to create with. I knew I had to make some great Christmas cards too!

These are all the same colors and layout but that's OK! When something works, you have to run with it so here I am running! (Shhh, don't tell anyone I was running! They wouldn't believe you anyway!)

The card base is Seaside Spray with Night of Navy layer. The Whisper White layer was embossed with Woodland embossing folder.

Each of these cards had a stitched circle die cut from Whisper White. I then stamped the trees on the circles with Seaside Spray ink. I sponged some Seaside Spray ink on the circles to create a horizon line. I added a bit of Shimmer Paint to that horizon line.

I stamped each of the animals with Night of Navy ink and fussy cut them out and added them to the circles with dimensionals.  I know not everyone is into fussy cutting. I really don't mind it for a card or two. I would not want to do it for 100 cards! Although, I probably have with all the images I have fussy cut.

I added a greeting and a bow of Seaside Spray metallic ribbon.

I really like how these turned out and I look forward to dropping them in the mail! How are your Christmas cards coming? All done? Mailed? Just starting? Somewhere in the middle?

Happy Stampin'!
