August swap cards

For the August swap, the theme was a color combination. The colors we were to use were Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Berry Burst, and Lemon-Lime Twist.

You can see from my first picture all the cards that I received in August. It was cool to see how everyone used this color combination differently.

Here is the card that I created.

I adore this DSP. The colors are so much fun and bright and...happy! This layout is pretty generic and could be use with any DSP that you would like for a great set of pages. You could change out the stamped images for other images.

I stamped the jar with Basic Black and then added the water, flowers and leaves to complete the jars.

Ribbon bows finishes the look.

I'm going to have to remember this layout and do another one with some other DSP. I might be a DSP hoarder. I have a cart full of retired DSPs. I may have to bust some of that out and use it on this layout! Hmm...the wheels are turning now!

Lemon lime twist cards

Here are the cards I made for the Inky Friends blog hop over the weekend. I wanted to give you the list of what I used to create each of these beauties. I love how I used the same color on each of these cards and they all have a very different feel. I just love creating!!
