Wedding Shower Favors

I'm not sure you remember, but my brother got married in December. I had made the invitations for his wedding and you can see them HERE.

In November, my mom gave my new sister-in-law a bridal shower and she asked me to make some favors to give to the attendees. I used the candy wrapper die and cut out 35 Basic Black wrappers. I then punched Very Vanilla with the lace punch a length that would wrap around the boxes. I punched a scallop oval from Cherry Cobbler and stamped and punched more Very Vanilla with the Best Wishes

I love the way these turned out! They were so elegant and yet very easy to make. I glued the boxes while watching TV one night and the rest went very fast.

Stamps: Oval All
Ink: Basic Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Lace punch, Scallop oval punch, oval
punch, candy wrapper die, Tombo glue, dimensionals

We filled these boxes with Hershey's Kisses. I was surprised by how many kisses fit in each one. I think I got 8 into them! I have to tell you that we had a few left over. I brought them home and my dog, Patches, got into them! I had paper every where! Now before you get worried, my dog was find. There weren't that many left over, so the chocolate didn't make her sick!

Here's a picture of Patches

She's a 13 year old Australian Shepherd. Too smart for her own good!!

Purse Chocolate Holder

This was one of my club projects in July. It's a cute little purse that holds the Ghiradelli squares of chocolate! Needless to say, there is no chocolate left in this cutie! Yum!

I found the directions for this purse at Qbee's Quest. Brenda has given you the step by steps on how to make these little cuties. They're a lot of fun to make!

Stamps: Oval All
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, More Mustard
Accessories: Chocolate Chip scallop dots ribbon, 5/16" Jumbo brads, Regals
DSP pack Large and scallop oval punches, Sticky Strip, dimensionals

Now don't eat all your chocolate and make a few yourself!!

March Club Projects

As I stated in an earlier post, I have been absolutely swamped with life right now! I'm a little behind in getting things posted to my blog. I know that you can't get these stamps or paper any longer but I still wanted to show you what we created at my club meeting in March. Some of these stamps and paper are from Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-bration that finished the end of March. I'm have room for another member or two to my club, are you interested? Send me an email or a phone call and I'll hook you up!

This card too a little to get it to the final look but I love the way this one turned out! Abi helped pick out colors again! I love that she has such an eye for colors. She likes to help pick them out too! We used the rock 'n' roll technique to get the darker edges on the main design.

The last project was a mini pizza box. I had never made one of these before and it was a lot of fun. I think I may have to make a few more. The paper that makes the flower and the ribbon is Ice Cream Parlor that was only available during Sale-a-bration.
