Stampin' Up!: Flight of the Butterfly

I held a class on how to do One Sheet Wonders. These are the cards that we created.

The way a one sheet wonder works, is that you start with a plain sheet of cardstock (you can also use a piece of DSP but I wanted to stamp!). Then you stamp the cardstock full of images. You want to make sure that the paper is quite full because once you cut it, you may end up with white space that you don't really want. Here is what my 6x6 cardstock looked like before I cut it up to use on my cards.

After you stamp, then you cut it up to use on the cards. There are lots of people who have shared their templates. I'm not sure which/who's pattern I used to cut this up. I can get you the measurements if you really want them! Let me know in the comments!

Here are the close ups of the 8 cards that this 6x6 made.

Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black
Cardstock: Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Accessories: Grosgrain ribbon: Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Pool Party ribbon,
Wide oval punch, Butterfly punch, sponges, Perfect Polka dots embossing folder

The Flight of the Butterfly, all the grosgrain ribbon, the butterfly punch and Sincere Salutations are all retiring! Don't miss out on these fun things!

October Christmas Cards

Here are my October Christmas cards. I joined a group of women at Stampin' Addicts where we are creating our Christmas cards each month so that we aren't trying to get them done on top of everything else that the Holidays bring! We get to pick how many cards to create each month. I use a lot of cards at Christmas because my husband is a pastor. I mail cards to our family and friends and give out more cards to our members! I have chosen to create 16 cards each month. I'm pretty sure I will have WAY more than I need but I didn't want to run out! Here's a group picture of all 16.

And a picture of just one!
Stamps: Delightful Decorations, Sincere Salutations, Music Notes wheel
Ink: Soft Suede, Basic Black, VersaMark
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Basic Black, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Ornament punch, Gold and Silver embossing powders, Basic
Black 1/8" taffeta ribbon, sponges, dimensionals, glue dots

Yes, these cards were made in October! It was the 30th but it was still October!
