Stampin' Up!: One Layer Butterfly

This was club card from a while ago. My ladies had challenged me to create a card that didn't use any layers. I found one (several actually) like this one. This one uses the colors Marina Mist and Certainly Celery with the flowers and words stamped in Basic Gray. I cut a butterfly from the Beautiful Butterfly die from copy paper. Placed the mask down on the cardstock and sponged the Marina Mist and Certainly Celery into the opening. Before removing the mask, stamp the daisies. Remove mask and add sentiment. Simply Beautiful!

Stamps: Upsy Daisy
Ink: Basic Gray, Marina Mist, Certainly Celery
Cardstock: Whisper White
Accessories: Beautiful Butterflies die, sponges

Upsy Daisy is on the retiring list. Don't miss it!

Stampin' Up!: Quilted Everyday Enchantment

While this Designer Series Paper isn't available any longer, I know that you have a stash in your stamping supplies! After all, who didn't hoard this paper? If you didn't get some of this into your arsenal of supplies, I'm sure you have some other DSP that would work. I punched out the DSP using the postage punch and adhered the punches to a white piece of cardstock. The greeting is from Upsy Daisy which is retiring soon, so is Peach Parfait! Don't miss out!

Stamps: Upsy Daisy, Four Frames
Ink: Peach Parfait, Calypso Coral
Card Stock: Peach Parfait, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Accessories: Postage punch, Large Oval punch, Decorative
Label punch, Calypso Coral ribbon, dimensionals

The 6 P's!

Another of my birthday card swaps. This one is a feminine card. These are much easier for me to create! Abi (my oldest daughter, 14 years old) helped me pick out the colors. When she pulled these out, I admit I was a little befuddled! I really wasn't sure how to use them together.

Not sure if you can see it but the Perfect Plum is sprayed with Platinum shimmer paint mixed with alcohol. The panel in the middle is Whisper White cardstock that was sponged with Pink Pirouette and Pumpkin Pie before stamping the flowers in Perfect plum.

Stamps: Upsy Daisy
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Pink Pirouette, Perfect Plum
Cardstock: Perfect Plum, Pumpkin Pie, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Accessories: Large oval punch, scallop oval punch, scallop trim border punch, Whisper White
grosgrain ribbon, sponges, Petals a Plenty embossing folder, Platinum shimmer paint

As I'm typing this in, I realized that all the colors have PP names! Now that's alliteration for you!
