Stampin' Up!: March Christmas Cards

If you follow my blog, you know that I having been doing Christmas cards each month so that when the Christmas rush comes, I have one thing done! These are then already to be addressed (I use an Excel document for my address that I keep updated every year) and mailed! 

These are my cards from March. Yes, they were completed in March! I'm very sad that Welcome Christmas is on the retiring list. I have LOVED this set since I first laid eyes on it. It just has a very classic/traditional/vintage Christmas feel to it.

Here's a close up of one. You can see that I embossed the red panel with Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder. The ribbon is the polka dotted scallop ribbon but I used the backside of the ribbon so you don't see the polka dots.

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Whisper White

Accessories: Basic Black scallop polka dot ribbon, Petals a Plenty embossing folder, glue dots

Stampin' Up! Mother's Doily

I hope that everyone had a great Mother's day yesterday! Ours was quiet which makes it a GREAT day! 

Here's a card that I created for my mom for Mother's day. I used this card to show off the doily die as well as the Mixed Bunch stamp set and the blossom punch. I also used two of the retiring In Colors, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride. I must admit that I had a very difficult time working this the doily die. Once I realized that my Big Shot was too "loose" to cut this die correctly, I was able to add 2 sheets of copy paper to my sandwich and then the cardstock was being cut completely through and I fell in love with this die.

Stampin' Up! For All You Do

Here's another club card from a month or so ago. I really love how these colors worked so well together! This stamp set is on the retiring list. Don't miss out!

We ran the Old Olive through the Big Shot with Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. Then we ran the Whisper White ink pad over the embossed areas. The flowers were rock n rolled in Tangerine Tango and Melon Mambo. I then spritzed the image with Tangerine Tango and Melon Mambo markers and the Spritzer tool. The butterfly was off stamped twice before being stamped onto the project.

Stampin' Up!: Fox & Friends Baby

Fox & Friends is on the retiring list. I'm very sad to see this stamp set go. I love this set and haven't used it nearly enough yet! This card was created for one of my club meetings in the last couple of months. The ladies said that they needed a baby card and this is what I came up with.

Stampin' Up!: Quilted Everyday Enchantment

While this Designer Series Paper isn't available any longer, I know that you have a stash in your stamping supplies! After all, who didn't hoard this paper? If you didn't get some of this into your arsenal of supplies, I'm sure you have some other DSP that would work. I punched out the DSP using the postage punch and adhered the punches to a white piece of cardstock. The greeting is from Upsy Daisy which is retiring soon, so is Peach Parfait! Don't miss out!
