In March, just as everything in WI was being shut down, I was able to still have this class. We using the Poppy Parade Suite of goodies to create 10 cards. We made 2 of each of these cards. The other cards are coming soon!
This is an Old Olive base. The background flowers are from the designer series paper, Peaceful Poppies. The main flower are from the Peaceful Poppy Elements. These pieces are a thick printed card stock. We stamped the Thank You from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and adhered the flower above it.
In the Peaceful Poppy Elements there are embossed images on water color paper and the embossed black elements too. We water colored the flowers and leaves before adhering them to the card. This picture makes the flower look orange but in real life it looks like the flowers on the designer series paper.
The elements pack also has some embossed vellum images. We used the the Blends to color on the back side of the vellum.
One lady at this class made the comment that she felt like she was cheating using the elements. The elements do help the cards come together super quickly but it's not cheating. Just creating in a different way!
