The beautiful Cottage Rose stamp set and coordinating dies will be off to relax in retirement very soon. I was able to do a little be of playing with this set and am going to share what I created.
Soft Succulent is also on the retiring list and it is the card base for this card. The designer series paper is the Perfectly Penciled paper and I used the blends to color the leaves on this paper. This is one of the best parts of black and white designer series papers, coloring it and making it your own.
Petal Pink is the card base for this card. This one is pretty simple. I stamped the rose with Memento ink and then colored it with Soft Succulent and Petal Pink blends.
How fun is this card? The only stamping is on the ribbon. Who would have thought to do that? The ink didn't stay as crisp as it could have but I was still pretty pleased with the idea of stamping on the ribbon and it working out fairly well!
