Cross Country 2

Here is that other cross country layout! I have been thinking about this layout. You might be able to use it for dirt bike racing or a new car. The path in the middle of the layout could be a road. Anyway, I will be adding cross country pictures to my pages. Remember cross country is run in the fall for high school and it is typically run in grass, paths and woods. Track is in the spring and run in ovals on a track. My girls are adamant about these differences. They really aren't track runners, although, Miriam has been doing track this spring as well as soccer.

I'm not sure if you can see it but I stamped the line of trees from Lovely as a Tree on the Early Espresso background. I used sponges to add the texture to the path way.

The wavy base on these pages were just free hand cut, as well as the path. I don't have a template for either.

I'm so excited that the new catalog has all the colors available in 12x12! You have to buy them in family colors but just to have them all available again is so excited about it!

Disney

I have another set of Disney pages to share today. I really LOVE the way these turned out! Black, white and red are so classic together. The touch of yellow makes it even better.

The punch to make Mickey's bow tie is being retired on May 31. Isn't it adorable?

To make the Mickey and Minnie heads, I punched one large circle and two smaller circles for the ears. Add a bow tie or a bow by the ears,  and you have Mickey or Minnie. How fun is that?

I am sure I won't even touch the surface of the number of pictures I have with these 2 sets of pages! Oh how I wish I could just stamp and scrap all day, every day!

Disney magic

About 7 years ago my family went to Disney. We have a ton of pictures and they are still on the computer! I am working getting those and many other pictures off the computer and onto some scrap book pages. Here are 2 pages that I am excited to add pictures to.

These are pretty simple but with a punch. The Mickey head is created using the Swirly Scribbles dies.

I stamped magic with Letters for You. Add a couple of strips of red and black cardstock and you have a double layout create!

I have another set of Disney pages that I am going to share tomorrow with you.

Hello Summer Layout

Summer is right around the corner! The school year is winding down and I am preparing to have my days at home! So many projects are on my list, not sure how I am going to get them all done but I am going to try hard!

These pages are so cheerful and bright. I love the colors of them. While this green and dark pink, Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder, retired last year, we have other great greens and pinks that you could use to recreate this layout! The light pink, Pink Pirouette, is retiring this year as well as the stamp set.

I haven't used this stamp set as much as I thought I might have but I really like the way this layout turned out. Adding pictures will be fun. Belle, my youngest daughter, is going to love adding her pictures to these pages as she love flamingos!

I created my own DSP on these pages by taking Whisper White cardstock and stamping my images on it in different colors. I didn't use 2 different greens. I stamped the images more than once to give a second generation image. That just means that I used the ink that was still on the stamp after stamping once.

You will notice that my pineapple has two different colors to it. I cut my image in half so that I could get this look easier. It still will go on the block and stamp the whole image with no issues but because it's in two pieces, I can get two colors when I stamp without markers.

Are you ready for summer? What are your big plans?
