February Christmas Cards

My February Christmas cards were fun to make. They are fairly simplistic but not overly simple. I love the feel of them.

You can see that there is a subtle texture to the Night of Navy cardstock. The music paper is called Merry Music and is from 2017 Holiday catalog. I figured I need to use the paper that I have on hand. Sorry you can't buy this paper but you could get Sheet Music background stamp and create your own Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the shepherd right on the music paper. The star is die cut and popped up on a dimensional. How are your Christmas cards coming?

June Christmas Cards

Well, I am trying to write up more blog posts so I was looking at the drafts that I have uploaded pictures for but haven't written anything. At the bottom of the list was these Christmas cards that I completed in June. I like to make 6 Christmas cards every month, then come end of November or beginning of December, I am able to pull them from my stash, sign, address and mail. It helps with the stress of the season and I get to play with Christmas, my favorite time of the year, all year long. Win-Win!!

So these are the cards that I created during the month of June for my stash of Christmas cards.

I have been working on doing more on the inside of my cards as well as to the envelopes. I had stamped on the inside and the envelopes in the past but got away from it for some reason. Here I am showing you the inside of these cards.

February Christmas Cards

I'm a bit behind on posting again but here are my February Christmas cards! I love creating these year round instead of scrambling in the fall and winter. Life is already so busy that time of the year, oh, who am I kidding! Life is busy at all times of the year! Creating Christmas cards all year long does make things a bit easier though!

I had to "prove" that I am creating 6 every month. This stamp set and dies were available in the Holiday Mini.

I'm still learning how to use my light box to get better pictures. Now it seems, I need a better angle!

Night in Bethlehem

One of my favorite sets from the Holiday Mini catalog is this set called Night in Bethlehem. I LOVE nativities! I think I have over 30 nativity sets that I put out at Christmas time. I have bought every nativity stamp set that Stampin' Up! has sold since I started purchasing sets. This one might be my favorite (at least until next year!😊).

All these cards were inspired by ones that I found on Pinterest. The shades of blue on this card is soft and soothing. I do have a smudge on the left side of the card. Not really sure what happened there. Oh well, it's life!

I love the colors of this next card. The colors are part of the In Color collection that was released in June. They are Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist.

This last card is my favorite of the 3. This set of stamps has a set of dies that you can purchase also. I used the dies on this one to cut out Mary, Joseph and the shepherd.
