Flower Power Pages

More scrapbook pages! Yeah! I just adore creating these pages. I really do need to take the time to add the pictures. My pages are piling up and need to get into albums. Summer project? Boy, that list is growing!

I stamped the flower with Bermuda Bay on the Bermuda Bay paper to create my own DSP (designer series paper).

The flowers are on dimensionals. One thing that I have learned about scrapbooking is that you don't have change the layouts drastically to make an impact. If you notice on these two pages, they really aren't that different.

Now, I need to make that list of things to go this summer. I don't think I will have enough time to get everything done. Anyone what to come and help?

Always Thinking of You

I have another beautiful card using the stamp set Beautiful Day to share with you today. This time I used the flower that comes in the set. I water colored the flower with an ink pad and an Aqua Painter. I never remember to use water color paper either so this is Whisper White.

It really is a pretty card! I also have a set of scrapbook pages using this flower. I will share them tomorrow.

March Swap

I joined a monthly swap! I love creating cards and sharing them. This monthly swap that I have joined has a theme every month. The theme for March was Spring. I really like this butterfly so I went with it.

After making this card, I really wanted to make scrapbook pages too. I shared the butterfly pages with you yesterday. I colored those butterflies the same as this one.

Butterflies Pages

How are we into April already? Life sure has gotten busy on my end and I have dropped the ball on blogging lately. I'm sorry about that.

Well, with that being said, I wanted to show you these pages in March because they use the Bubbles & Fizz DSP as well as the Sparkle Ribbon that you could have gotten for free during Sale-a-bration but that didn't happen! You can still recreate these pages if you happen to have the DSP and ribbons or you could find other papers and ribbons and make them your own!

The top strip of DSP has two stripes of ribbon on it. I love how this looks on the layout.

The butterflies are so springy! I sure wish the weather outside would get with the calendar and show us some spring temperatures! What's the weather like were you are?

The butterflies were fun to color. I used my Aqua Painter and the ink on the lid of the stamp pad to color these beauties. I will share a card I made using these items tomorrow.
