Always & Forever Hop cards

Well, I forgot to come and share these with you! Sorry about that. These are the cards that I created for a blog hop in June. I used the colors Bermuda Bay, Elegant Eggplant and Crumb Cake for all of these cards. My oldest daughter is getting married in September and she fell in love with this stamp set and these are her wedding colors. We were working on how to use this set on her invitations and I played to create some other ideas too!

Yes, I cut out the tiny little hearts on this one. They have Wink of Stella on them. Not sure how to get that in a picture.

This next one uses the new Pinewood Plank embossing folder. I think I should have colored those hearts with Elegant Eggplant.

Another one with the Pinewood Plank embossing folder. I did fussy cut the tree trunk and the hearts on the trunk have Wink of Stella again.

The large tree ring and forever are gold embossed on this one. I haven't embossed in a long time. It was great to pull those supplies out again! Did you see the new Tree Ring background stamp? I think you might be seeing more of that on my blog!

Which one is your favorite? I'm not sure which is mine. I'll have to share the wedding invitations and bridal shower invitations once I know people have started to get them!

Happy Stampin'!

Inky Friends 2017-2018 In Color Blog Hop

Image may contain: text

Hello all!
Welcome to the another blog hop hosted by the Inky Friends! This time we are all working with one of the new In Colors for the next two years.

If you are following the blog hop you may have just come from Lily's Ink Pad where Sara showed you some great projects using Fresh Fig. Or you may have come the other way through the blog hop and come from Paper Creations where Mickey used Powder Pink for her fabulous creations! If you get lost along the way, you can always check out the line up of blogs HERE.

While you are here, check out what I did with Lemon Lime Twist! I have been waiting a loooong time for Stampin' Up! to come out with a limey green color. I was heartbroken when they retired Green Galore and Gable Green many years ago! My wait is over and I just LOVE  Lemon Lime Twist! See what I made!

This first card I made using the stamp set Cool Treats. I'm not sure why this picture looks so washed out. The base is Lemon Lime Twist with Peekaboo Peach, and So Saffron with some Crumb Cake. The treats are covered with Wink of Stella. So hard to capture that in a picture.

I love this second card. The colors are Pool Party, Dapper Denim, and Lemon Lime Twist. I used the set Jar of Love. I really need to use this set more...hmm...

My third card I wanted to show just how cool this color is so I used just Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black and Whisper White. One of my daughters is on a Spanish trip with her school. She asked me to create her a journal so that she could write all her experiences. She really liked this stamp and had me put it on the front of her journal. It was still sitting on my table so I thought it would be awesome on this card too! The stamp set is One Wild Ride.

Lastly, I did a set of scrapbook pages. I have really enjoyed creating pages with stamps. The colors on these pages is Lemon Lime Twist, Soft Sky, and Berry Burst with the stamp set Flower Shop.

I have had so much fun with this color that I have 2 more double layouts that I created using other color combos. So much fun!

Now I must send you on your way. Make sure you get all the way around the hop. You don't want to miss out on these wonderful creations that my friends have created. Off to see Mickey's creations or going back to see Sara's, doesn't matter, just don't miss them!

Inky Friends Blog Hop

BLOG HOP! Yeah!

Welcome to the Inky Friends very first blog hop! I'm so excited to be part of this hop. I haven't done one since this group was part of the Stampin' Addicts hops. We have gotten together do show you some of the new goodies that are in the Stampin' Up! catalog that when live on June 1. Great to be with old friends again!

I am the first stop on this hop but the blogs are all linked together in a circle so you may have come to me from Sara or Twila depending on which way you are hopping around! And in case you get lost along the way, you can go HERE to see the list and get links! Have fun hopping!

Without further ado, here are the projects that I created with the new stamp set Always & Forever. I LOVED this set from the moment I set eyes on it! The tree stump, the rings and that beautiful font! Now, my daughter's impending marriage may have helped my infatuation with this set. I did use her wedding colors to create all these projects.

These first two cards were fun to make. The Forever card uses the new Pinewood Plank embossing folder. There is Wink of Stella on all the little hearts on these two cards.

Now these two cards I adore! The Pinewood Plank shows up on the Mr. and Mrs. card too. Did you see the Tree Rings stamp? Isn't that just cool?

I have been doing more and more scrapbooking and I love to do double layouts. Here's my double layout with Always & Forever.

Well, there are my projects for this hop! What do you think? Leave me a comment and let me know! Come back on Monday for some close up of these projects and the list of goodies that were used to create them.

Thanks for checking my projects out! You are now off to see what Twila did with the A Little Wild stamp set! Or maybe you are going backwards and off to see what Sara made with Sharing Sweet Thoughts!

Happy Stampin'!

Birthday balloons

Hey, ho! How's everyone doing?

Sorry for not posting in a few weeks. Soccer got in the way but that's done now for the summer anyway! I have 4 wonderful daughters, 3 of them were playing on 4 different teams. Makes for a wild spring! And I love every minute of it!

While I was busy watching soccer games, I forgot to post these birthday cards before the stamps and dies retired. I think you can still enjoy them so I'm posting them anyway.

This first one is my favorite of this set. I just LOVE that Hardwood background.

..

I have been trying to mail cards to friends and family this year. I have gotten behind in that too (thanks soccer!) but am working on catching up. I designed this card for a friend who loves teal and yellow.

Then, while the stamps and inks were out, I tried my hand at a one layer card. They aren't that easy! What do you think? Did I do it?

Hope your summer is going well! I know that I am enjoying my time away from school and love getting some of those projects off my to do list!

I will be participating in a blog hop this weekend! Stay tuned! You aren't going to want to miss it. These ladies are supper talented. I'm not sure why they let me play with them!
