Miss Mad Stamper: November 2019

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving and were able to enjoy friends and family!

These penguins are too cute! They are adorable! This card is only one sheet of card stock. I stamped the scarf and then masked it. Then I stamped the penguin over the top. I took my sponge and dabbed a bit of Seaside Spray on the front of the card.

I fussy cut Mr. Penguin for this card. The background was created by picking up some ink with my Aqua Painter and then flicking it on the Whisper White background.

I used this gate fold card for one of my Stamp-a-Stacks for Christmas this fall. A gate fold card is scored at 2 1/4" and 7 3/4". I stamped and layered the penguin on the left side of this card. The snow is stamped with Seaside Spray and Silver inks. I did fussy cut the scarf again.

What colors would you use to create with these penguins? I think I'm stuck on blues and black and would love to have a few more ideas for this set.

More Christmas cards! Yep, I have been having great fun creating Christmas cards! I used Perfectly Plaid on these cards.

I stamped this tree with Shaded Spruce and then stamped it again without re-inking it. The lightest colored trees are stamped in Pear Pizzazz. You can't see it very well in this picture but the trees and the leaves have Champagne Shimmery Paint on them.

I pulled out the Designer Series paper called Wrapped in Plaid. I have a few more cards that I made with this paper as well as a set of scrapbook pages. I took markers to the greeting so that I could have the top two lines in green and the last on in red.

I adore the Buffalo Check background stamp. You can see the circle stamp on behind the tree. This was stamped with the set Swirly Frames. I used the markers again to get the greeting Christmas Cheer from the stamp. I also colored my rhinestones with my Real Red dark Blend.

I again had many ideas for this stamp set so stay tuned to see what else I have created.
