These meerkats are so cute! They have been fun to play with too. You can see three other cards I created with this set HERE.
I stamped these little guys with Stazon ink and then use my Soft Suede ink pad and Aqua Painter to color them. The strip in the middle is from the Neutrals DSP pack.
I wish I would have looked at this one before I taped everything down. I might have noticed that the bottom left of the card didn't have any cactus on it. They were all covered up by the layers on the card. Oh well. I guess that's what happens when you hand make something. They don't turn out perfect every time.
I'm sure you have seen other cards that has colored these guys in completely, making them look like a shadow. I jumped on that bandwagon and created my own. I have to say, coloring these adorable faces was a little difficult. It just didn't seem right! I sponged Crushed Curry, Mango Melody and Poppy Parade to make the sunset.
