True Beauty

True Beauty really is a beauty. It is a stamp set, coordinating dies, and designer series paper. I used some of the paper for these cards.

Merry Merlot is a color that I don't often use. I kind of forget about it and it is pretty dark. I have been trying to use it more because it really is a pretty, dark red color. I paired it with Petal Pink and the Awash with Beauty designer series paper. 

Cottage Rose

Spring is suppose to be here but it we keep getting these snow storms where we get 6"-10" of snow. In about 3 days it's melted and we start over. While I'm not a huge fan of the cold of winter, I do find snow very pretty and lots of fun to play in but I'm over it for this season! It's time for spring to makes its arrival! Since spring is taking its sweet time, I will be creating spring in my stamp room.

I was working with the stamp set Cottage Rose to create some spring like cards. Crumb Cake and Petal Pink are the two colors for this first card. The rose and greeting were stamped with Crumb Cake ink.

Nature's Harvest scrapbook pages

These pages were done this fall with the stamp set called Nature's Harvest. Nature's Harvest has a coordinating set of dies called Harvest dies.

Artistically Inked

Artistically Inked is such a pretty set and the coordinating dies include this fantastically detailed die that is so much fun to play and create cards with. I don't think you have to try to hard to make a beautiful card with this set and dies.

I started with a Balmy Blue card base and added a Night of Navy layer. On the top layer I used the blending brushes with Balmy Blue and Parakeet Party inks with a mask from the Artistic Mix masks. I used Night of Navy to die cut this set of flowers and adhered it to the front of the card with some liquid adhesive. The greeting was stamped with Night of Navy ink and punched with the double oval punch. It was layered with Parakeet Party scallop oval and adhered to the card with dimensionals. A couple of rhinestones finish off this card. 

Nature's Prints

Can you tell that I really like the nature sets that Stampin' Up! carries? Nature's Prints is another one of the beauties that I truly enjoy. It has an awesome set of coordinating dies too. Let me show you three cards I made with this fantastic set.

Soft Sea Foam and Shaded Spruce are the colors I chose. The layer behind the greeting and wreath was embossed with the Fern embossing folder and the Soft Sea Foam ink pad brushed over the top. I used the Shaded Spruce dark blend to color the ribbon.

Celebrate Sunflowers scrapbook pages

My husband loves sunflowers. They have always been a favorite of mine as well. Celebrate Sunflowers is a stunning stamp set that has a coordinating set of dies that I hope don't retire any time soon. I have enjoyed playing with them every time I have pulled them from my shelf. I don't think you can make an ugly project when using these goodies. They look fabulous with whatever you pair them with. 

I used the hostess only designer series paper called Design a Daydream with some Pool Party to create these marvelous pages. 

Ringed With Nature

Ringed With Nature is a carry over stamp set and embossing folder/dies. This bundle is one of my favorites from the fall mini catalog. I did work with it but not nearly as much as I would have liked and I'm so happy I get to play some more!

This set has some two-step stamping that makes it super simple to get more than one color on your card. The house was stamped with Night of Navy and the roof with Mint Macaron. The Silver Threaded Twine is thicker than I had thought it was. I did struggle a little to get it to wrap around the layers and stay there. 

Tahitian Tide

This post got lost in the mix of the other posts sitting in my queue waiting to be shared. I had thought I had shared my cards where I focused on the In Colors but clearly, I forgot to share the Tahitian Tide cards. I guess late is better than never so here we go!

The Rich Razzleberry card base helps the Tahitian Tide pop off the card. I stamped the swimming suits with Tahitian Tide, Rich Razzleberry, and Daffodil Delight.

Hydrangea Haven

Hydrangeas are such a beautiful flower. They are stunning while in bloom and even the dried blossoms are a joy to have around. I have 3 hydrangeas in front of my house and I look forward to them every year. The one year, the plant was very large but I only got 5 blooms on all 3 plants. So sad.

Hydrangea Haven allows me to have hydrangeas year round. I did purchase this bundle when it first came out. I made a card with it and then pushed it to the side. I'm not sure why I don't use my goodies when I get them and then once I play with them, I'm bummed I haven't used them more. I really need to break this pattern in my life. Any suggestions?

I used a blending brush to put some Balmy Blue onto a Basic White layer of cardstock. I tried to leave the center fairly light. The greeting was stamped with Gorgeous Grape. The blossom was colored with the stamp the fills in the bloom, I used Highland Heather and Balmy Blue inks.

Kindest Gnomes

I think I liked this set. It seems I have shared so many cards that I made with this set. These cards are not using the stamp set but the dies. The dies are still available online.

The base for this card is Poppy Parade. The designer series paper is called Storybook Gnomes. I die cut the gnome's hat from Pool Party, the shoes from Basic Black, the beard from Basic White, and the nose from Petal Pink.
