While the paper, ribbon and oval dies are retired, these cards can still be used for some inspiration. Color blocking is a great technique to make cards fast with some pizzazz!
I used Just Jade for the card base for each of these cards. I also die cut a leaf from Just Jade for each card too. The scallop oval was die cut from Pretty Peacock.
One of the ferns from the Forever Fern stamp set. The greeting also came from the stamp set.
I added a few pearls and a knot of ribbon to the oval greeting after the greeting was adhered with dimensionals.
To get the different panels in the background, start with 4 pieces of 4" x 5-1/4" designer series paper (you can also use 4 different colors of cardstock). I then cut on the 4" side at 2-3/4". Keeping the papers together, place the 5-1/4" side at the top of your cutter and cut both pieces at the same time at 3-3/4". Repeat for the other pieces of designer series paper. Then you get to put your four puzzles together any way you want!
While you can't recreate these cards exactly as I created them unless you have all the goodies already, you can take the idea and make it your own with other designer series paper and the greeting can be any shape and still look fabulous!
The pictures below will take you to my Stampin' Up! store where you can purchase many of these supplies and so much more!
