The stamp set For Unto Us is a fantastic religious Christmas greeting set. It was part of Stampin' Up! for 2 years and has now retired. I will be keeping this set in my collection for a while as I love the religious nature of it and find that hard to find once in a while.
This card is a base of Smoky Slate with Basic Gray and Basic White as layers. The music was embossed and then I ran the ink pad over the top so that the embossing would pick up that ink.
This card is a fun fold. The opening of this card is just the center, where the dots are. This card starts with a base of 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of cardstock. Cut a piece of cardstock to 8-1/2" x 3-1/4". Fold this piece in half and adhere to the center of the base. Cut strips of designer series paper to 1" x 4" and adhere to the sides. Decorate the rest as desired. If you'd like more information about this card, please watch my video HERE.
This is a money holder. Giving money doesn't have to be too boring! Start with a piece of cardstock cut to 8-1/2" x 7". Score this piece with the 8-1/2" side along the top of the tool at 2" and 5-1/2". Adhere the 2" flap to the bottom of the cardstock, only putting adhesive on the edges. This is the pocket for you to place your gift. Fold the top flap over. I added a belly band and some designer series paper to decorate the card.
Here you can see the inside of the card. I added a bit of Basic White and decorated that with a stamped bough.
Each week I try to encourage you to create some Christmas cards. It's so nice to have a stack ready to go when the time comes. No need to scramble or get stressed out.
