Hippo Happiness

Hippo Happiness was retired last spring. I was sad to see this one leave our arsenal. The labels that are part of the dies are fantastic! The animals in this set are so adorable too. As you can see, I played with this set but didn't get to share them with you so here we go!

The colors for this card are Tahitian Tide,  Daffodil Delight, and Melon Mambo. It's a very cheerful card. You can see one of the great labels in these dies on this card too.

Evening Evergreen

Boy, I really am behind! Thank you for hanging with me while I catch up on so many things that I have made over the last several months and haven't found the time to write a blog post about. Anyone want to be my accountability partner? I think I could really use one! I am working on being better though~

I did these cards for my In Color Club where you get ink pad, cardstock, markers, blends, ribbon and other goodies each month for one of the new In Colors. Evening Evergreen was the last of the 5 colors this time around and here are 3 cards that I made with this color as the focus.

This one starts with Evening Evergreen as the base color. I then paired it with some Soft Succulent and Sahara Sand for a simple and striking Christmas card.

Fresh Freesia

One of the newest In Colors is Fresh Freesia. Fresh Freesia is a beautiful light purple color. I love all things purple so I was excited to have another purple to the Stampin' Up! lineup.

While creating with this color, I paired it with Blackberry Bliss and Elegantly Said to create this first card. Isn't that ribbon so pretty? The dark of the Blackberry Bliss really makes this color pop.

This card is a bit more playful. I stamped the hippo with Fresh Freesia, the horse with Balmy Blue and the sheep with Mango Melody. I chose not to add faces to these guys. I liked just the shapes for this card. You could add the faces if you would like to.

Artistically Inked is a fantastic stamp set that I haven't had a chance to play with yet. The huge, abstract flower is so wonderful! I feel like it would be very hard to make a bad project with this set. I stamped that flower with Fresh Freesia on the same cardstock and added some Soft Succulent leaves and Daffodil Delight centers. You can see that gorgeous ribbon again here but in the Soft Succulent color.

I hope you have seen all new In Colors by now. They are a wonderful set of colors that have been fun to create with. You can purchase these colors and more by clicking the pictures below. My online store will be more than happy to help you find all that you need!

Polished Pink

It's that time of the year again to welcome 5 new colors to our color choices! I do an In Color Club where each month you will receive the ink pad, cardstock, blends, marker, ribbon and a card for $43. There is an option to do an add on which includes the refill ink, shimmer vellum, jewels, designer series paper and ombre bags for $13.50 extra. This is every month for 5 months so that you will get all 5 of the new In Colors. If you'd like to join, I can add you! Just let me know! (If you are not local to me, there would be shipping costs added.)

So, I started with Polished Pink. This card uses Polished Pink, Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride. Hippo Happiness was the stamp set of choice and I did baby wipe swipe for a technique. I think it's a very cute card and I look forward to sending it to my niece.

Dragonfly Garden found it's way to my stamping table too so I thought I would do a little different color combination with this set. The colors are Polished Pink and Soft Succulent. This card has LOTS of layers. Way more than I normally used but the finished product makes it all worthwhile.

How about some strawberry and peach ice cream? We are well in the 90's for temperature and I'm not sure how high the humidity is but it feels like an oven! Ice cream seems like a really good idea right now! There is Wink of Stella on the ice cream scoops for extra glitz.

Well, there is some inspiration for Polished Pink. If you are interested in joining my In Color Club, please let me know! I'll get you all the information and set up right away. My email is missmadstamper@yahoo.com

The pictures below will take you to my online store if you click on them. There you can purchase these supplies and so much more!
