Harvest Hellos Pumpkin Pages

Happy Halloween! Enjoy your Spooky Night!

I couldn't put away Harvest Hellos until I completed a Halloween set of pages. My youngest daughter is getting to the point where she likes to do a bit of trick or treating but it isn't what it used to be. So I'm not even sure if she is going out this year. BUT I still have lots of pictures from years past that need to be put into scrap books.

You may recognize this layout. I used it for my School Days layout. These pages are exactly the same but I used pumpkins instead of apples and changed the colors. What a difference that has made in the feel of the pages.

I used Grapefruit Grove, Cajun Craze, and Pumpkin Pie for my Jack'o Lanterns. Those pumpkins are on dimensionals.

I used the dies called Hand Letter Prose for the title. The other colors I used were Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black, and Whisper White.

I think I have shown you many uses for this great stamp set! Now you need to decide, Apples or Pumpkins? Hmm...

Harvest Hellos Apple Pages

I just had to do some scrap booking with this set. We don't go to apple farms so I decided to use the apples to create a back to school or anytime of school pages.

I love that apples come in several different colors. That fact helped me in decided which colors I wanted to use to create these pages.

I used Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, and Granny Apple Green for the apples. They are on dimensionals. The apple slice was colored with Blends and fussy cut.

Have you noticed the Hand Letter Prose dies? They are a great alphabet for scrap book pages. They are the perfect size.

Tomorrow I have a set of Halloween pages to share with you. Then you will have to decide, apples or pumpkins!

Harvest Hellos Apples or Pumpkins

Harvest Hellos is fantastic bundle! I love that you can create apples or pumpkins with this set and the punch will cut them both out! So marvelous! I decided that I was going to create cards using the same layout for apples and pumpkins. I had so much fun doing this, I ended up making 8 different cards! I am sharing 4 of those cards today. My next post will have the other 4 on it.

I don't know if you can see it but the Cherry Cobbler piece is embossed with the Brick & Mortar folder. I water colored the apple. I like to squeeze my ink pads so that there is ink left on the lid of the pads. I then use my Aqua Painter to pick up that color and place it where I want it.

I water colored the pumpkin on this card. The Gorgeous Grape card stock was with Stylish Scrolls. I did take my Silverly Shimmer ink pad and ran it over the top of the embossing to highlight it a bit.

I stacked the apples on top of each other. The Buffalo Plaid is stamped in Cherry Cobbler, it almost feels like a table cloth. I did take my dark Cherry Cobbler Blend to highlight the accent marks on the apples. I added the Garden Green ribbon around the middle to give a little more texture.

I highlighted the ridges of the pumpkins with Dark Pumpkin Pie Blend. I did the Buffalo Plaid in black this time. Gives this card a little different feel.

Isn't it fun to see how changing colors on the same sketch changes the feel of the card. Come back next time to see two more sets. Then you can decide, Apples or Pumpkins?
