Frosted Gingerbread

You may remember that I made a few other cards with the suite of Frosted Gingerbread. I decided to play with this set and dies but not the designer series paper. I find that when there is designer series paper with a bundle, I get stuck with using the colors in the papers and not looking beyond. I put the papers away and pulled out some other colors and got busy.

This card starts with thick Basic White as the base. The Balmy Blue layer was embossed with the snowflake fold from Wintry embossing folders. I also stamped the border on the right side. The snowflakes were stamped with Balmy Blue ink and one in Night of Navy. The Night of Navy snowflake was die cut and added to the panel with dimensionals.

This is one of my favorite color combinations. The card base is Pool Party with a strip of Soft Sea Foam and a thin layer of Just Jade. The bells were stamped with those same colors. The middle one was die cut and added to the card with a dimensional.

The border and greeting were heat embossed. Heat embossing is so regal looking, especially in the metallics. The ornament was die cut from gold foil paper and the details were in Night of Navy. This card is pretty simple and would be pretty simple to mass produce. You may want to change the gold foil though if you are going to mass produce as that could get pricy but so worth it! The Basic White layer is embossed with Merry Melody embossing folder.

If you would like to see the other cards I made with this set, you can see them HERE. They are the traditional red and green Christmas cards. Pretty and fun to make but it's also fun to shake things up and use other colors!

All the supplies for these cards are listed below. You may click on a picture and be taken to my online store where you can purchase the supplies.
