While I know that sale-a-bration is over for this round, many of you are still receiving your last orders and may want more inspiration so here is some more cards using the Friendly Hello bundle.
This bird is so pretty. I think he looks fabulous in any color but here are three colors. I colored him with Pool Party blends. The flowers were colored with Fresh Freesia. There is nothing super fancy about this card but I really like how it turned out. You don't have to do super fancy or even fancy to have a fantastic card.
I used a technique called masking for this card. I stamped the bird and flowers on an extra piece of copy paper and fussy cut them out. I stamped them on the panel of Basic White and then laid the copy paper pieces over the top of the stamped image. I then used my blending brushes to add some Pale Papaya around the image giving it a halo affect.
Granny Apple Green is one of the best greens that is in the Stampin' Up! line up in my opinion. I really miss Lemon-Lime Twist but Granny Apple is a good substitute, for me anyway. The bird is colored with Granny Apple Green and the flowers are Fresh Freesia. I love how bold this birdie is with Granny Apple Green. I feel like I should be in some tropical place. Ah...the sun, the heat, the waves, the sand...when can I go?
